to the Heal PTSD program!
Please read all of the information
on this page before starting.
There are two ways to learn how to use the program.
A 1-hour in-depth instruction video.
An optional 15-minute quick start video.
you already played the introduction on the main Heal PTSD website, then your computer
and browser should be set up correctly. If, for some reason, the video does not
play, be sure that you have:
most recent version of your web browser (for best results we strongly recommend
using the free Mozilla Firefox browser),
- a sound card and external
speakers or headphones,
Free Shockwave Player.
If you use America Online (AOL) to access the internet, their website
features usually interfere with the videos working properly. Please load your
browser (Internet Expolorer, Mozilla, etc.) and directly type in the "www.healPTSD.com"
website address in the browser itself. Be sure that all signs of AOL are gone.
How To Use The Video Controls
A. You may need to wait a few moments for the video player on each page to appear.
It will check your connection speed and play the video that is best suited for
your system (broadband, DSL, or dial-up).
You may need to click the play button once or twice to start the video - it depends
on your browser.
C. Click the pause button to pause the video. If you
click the stop button the video automatically rewinds to the beginning.
If the video is paused or stopped, the controls look like the picture below. The
counter will stop. Click the play button (the sideways triangle) to get the video
to start again.
If the video is playing, the controls will look like this picture. The counter
will count seconds and minutes. To pause the video, click the button on the left
with the two lines on it (it's in the same place as the play button).
